First announced in September by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the $320 million SingaporeRediscovers voucher scheme aims to bolster the local tourism industry by giving each adult Singaporean S$100 worth of vouchers for hotel, attraction and tour bookings.
On the first day of redemption (Dec 1), over 11,900 SingapoRediscovers vouchers bookings were made, totalling S$1.86 million in vouchers and payments.
With that said, with 41 attractions, 117 tour agencies and a whopping 187 hotels eligible for the SingapoRediscover vouchers, it can be a real hassle to source for the best deal.

1) Top up the remaining
Note that any unused value from each of your $10 will not be refunded.
For instance, if you are paying a $25 admission ticket with $30 (3 x $10) vouchers, the remaining $5 will not be refunded to you. Hence it is better to top up $5 and use the third voucher for other products.
2) Don’t rush! Wait for better deals
December 2020 and January 2021 are still within the early stage of the SingapoRediscover redemption period.
As the vouchers expire in June 2021, it might be good to wait for better deals that may come in the later half of the redemption period
3) Compare! Compare! Compare!
The 5 authorised booking platforms may have different bundles and prices. Hence, you should always compare the product (of interest) on the different platforms to get the best deal.
4) Get the food!
If experiences are not your kind of thing, go for tours and attraction that offer a meal or dining vouchers/credits.

Q: Who is eligible for the SingapoRediscovers Vouchers?
All Singapore citizens aged 18 and above in 2020 will receive the S$100 SingapoRediscovers Vouchers. The vouchers will be in denominations of S$10 (e.g. S$10 x 10 vouchers).
Q: Where can I redeem the SingapoRediscovers Vouchers?
The SingapoRediscovers Vouchers can only be used at the five authorised booking platforms: Klook, Traveloka, Trip.com, GlobalTix, and Changi Recommends.
For online redemption procedures, head to VisitSingapore. Singaporeans who are require assistance may visit the authorised booking partners at the following physical locations.
Q: Will the SingapoRediscovers Vouchers expire?
All SingapoRediscovers vouchers must be redeemed and used by 30 June 2021. The tickets purchased and bookings made with SingapoRediscovers vouchers must also be used by 30 June 2021.
Q: How do I check the balance of my SingapoRediscovers Vouchers?
To check your balance, login to SingapoRediscovers Vouchers Portal.
Q: Can I use my vouchers for other people (e.g children, friends, relatives)
Individuals with at least 1 minor in the family will be able to purchase up to six subsidised child/youth tickets for attractions and tours – each subsidy is up to S$10.
You are allowed to purchase a tour, attraction ticket or hotel booking and transfer it to another individual provided that the merchant allows it. Please contact the individual merchants to enquire more.
Q: Can I stack my SingapoRediscovers Vouchers with other individuals?
Individuals are NOT ALLOWED to stack or combine their vouchers with other individuals for a single purchase. This is to ensure the fair distribution of vouchers across businesses. With that said, individuals are able to stack their own S$10 vouchers for a combined value of S$100.
Q: Are the prices inflated or different on the different booking platforms?
The Singapore Tourism Board is taking a proactive approach towards profiteering and will penalise merchants found guilty of such practices.
Price differences exist between the different booking platforms. One should compare the same product across the different platforms for the best deals.
