Do you know that besides the famous Sembawang Hot Springs, there is a second hot spring in Singapore? In fact, it is so hidden that it is not accessible to the public!
Located in Unum, the northern part of Pulau Tekong, the hot spring was formerly used by villagers on the island. Today, the hot spring is constructed with a square shaped boardwalk with a “Pulau Tekong Hot Spring” signboard. The construction is reportedly sponsored by the Specialists’ Mess.
Today, Unum has become a densely forested area and a hotspot for paranormal activity. Soldiers reportedly go missing during training and are unable to hear each other’s call for help. Other stories include soldiers smelling a sweet fragrance and seeing shadows in the forest.
